International Travel Insurance

It is compulsory to take out travel insurance when you make your reservation. Please, make sure you and all your travel companions are insured against all illnesses, injuries, accidents, medical evacuation, death, loss of luggage and personal belongings, flight and accommodation cancellation and other travel negligence.

Passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the departure date.

 

Payment Policy 

To confirm a booking, we require a 30% deposit. No booking will be considered confirmed until this payment is received. After the payment of the deposit, the terms and conditions fixed by Rote Island Lodge will be considered read and accepted. We reserve the right to cancel the booking without previous notice if the deposit isn´t received within 7 days of making the booking.

The remaining 70% of the payment must be paid 30 days before the planned arrival. If the payment hasn´t been made, and since our accommodation is limited, the client will lose the total amount of the deposit and the booking will be cancelled. 

 

Cancellation Policy

Deposits are non-refundable. The cancellation of the booking between the payment of the deposit and 30 days before the planned arrival will involve losing the deposit paid in total.

The cancellation of the booking between 15 and 29 days before the planned arrival will involve the loss of 50% of the complete booking.

The cancellation of the booking between 1 and 14 days before the planned arrival will involve the loss of 75% of the complete booking.

 

It won´t be possible to claim any reimbursement due to circumstances beyond our control such as earthquakes, floods, etc or due to global, national or political instability that may directly or indirectly affect travel security. 

Refunds will not be given because of late arrival due to missed or cancelled ferries or flights.

 

Limited liability

Rote Island Lodge (registered business name: PT Bukit Berkat Rote Wisata) is not responsible for the inherent risks caused by unfortunate accidents or incidents under ordinary travel conditions. Rote Island Lodge (registered business name: PT Bukit Berkat Rote Wisata)is not responsible for injuries or death, damage, loss, delays, costs, expenses or inconveniences derived from travel misfortunes beyond our control. Rote Island Lodge (registered business name: PT Bukit Berkat Rote Wisata) will not accept responsibility for the client's late arrival or the disappearance of their surfboards, surfboard cases or any other piece of luggage. Rote Island Lodge (registered business name: PT Bukit Berkat Rote Wisata) is not responsible for health problems derived from environmental factors during your stay. We are not responsible for damage or loss caused by other travelling clients. Please, bear in mind that we are not responsible for loss or damage to your personal equipment or your property during your stay with us or while taking part in any of our activities. We will not accept responsibility for injuries suffered during your stay with us or while taking part in any of our activities. We will not accept responsibility for delays, extra expenses or inconveniences directly or indirectly caused by events out of our control, i.e.: late arrival of international flights, civil disturbances, fires, floods, unusually bad weather, force majeure causes, government acts or failure of any machinery or equipment.

 

Administration Law

These Terms and Conditions are covered in all their aspects by the Laws of Indonesia and any legal action that may arise related to the contract will need to be resolved before the country's competent body.
