There are surf breaks to suit everyone on Rote, and our villas are ideally situated just a short scooter ride away from them
T-Land
5 - 10 minutes away
T-land is the main attraction. Long left point. Works on all tides. Best around mid tide. Dry season trades cross/offshore. Boats leaving from the Nemberala harbour area and will take you to the surf and back for Rp75k.
Boa
5 minutes away
Boa is a grinding right point located at Boa village. Wind affected during dry season trades. Early mornings are best. Shoulder season is the best time for this wave.
Suckies
20 minutes away
Another right offshore reef point. Hollow. Needs a bit of swell to work. Wind affected. Long paddle or boat from Nemberala.
Squealers
10 minutes away
Squealers is a great beginner/intermediate wave that works at mid-tide. You can get a boat from the harbour or paddle from the beach.
Outer Islands
Full or half day trips
All the outer islands have breaks that work with a bit of swell. We can get you out our boat to take you to the best spot at the right time
